Expertise

An accomplished speech-language pathologist (SLP), Nicole has a passion for literacy skills and an interest in exploring the relationships between language and reading. She embraces ongoing education and regularly studies evidence-based research in language and literacy. This ensures she can provide accurate diagnoses, help families understand results, and guide them on the best steps moving forward.
Nicole’s unique certification as both an SLP and reading specialist makes her especially qualified to identify and diagnose language, reading, and writing disorders, like dyslexia.
Nicole has two master’s degrees and holds certifications from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for speech-language pathology. She is a board member of the Oklahoma Speech-Language Hearing Association (OSLHA), frequently collaborates with SLPs across the country, and engages with state legislators to advocate for professional and literacy-related matters.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Nicole is dedicated to being a loving wife, mom, and professional. Raised in a military family, she attended six different schools in different states growing up. She enjoys reading a good mystery novel, but her favorite hobby is reading books aloud to kids. Nicole has lived in Oklahoma since 1991 and loves exploring the charming main streets of towns across the state.
